STC Announces Four New Board Members

New members will enhance the board’s focus on serving as a voice for the Springfield area tech industry.
SPRINGFIELD, MO – Springfield Tech Council announced four new board members who will each help support the nonprofit’s work in elevating tech by serving as a voice for the industry, a hub for community, and a resource for all.
“We’re excited to increase our board size and expand the board with four new members who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work,” said STC Executive Director Emily Buckmaster. “The nominating committee worked diligently to ensure the board members have expertise in key strategic areas, represent industry clusters previously underrepresented, and/or are actively involved in committee work and the industry.”
The new board members began with STC effective July 27, 2023. The four new board members are:
Nathan Barnes, Digital Product Head, Bayada Home Healthcare
Cheryl Hertel, Chief Information Officer, CoxHealth
Linda Leslie, Enterprise Account Manager, Bluebird Network
Calvin Piche, Director of Information Technology, Erlen Group
“STC has seen a meteoric rise in engagement from the community; adding new board members with Cheryl, Nathan, Leslie and Calvin’s experiences will help our organization meet our ambitious goals,” said Dan Watson, chair of the STC board.
